¿ what did i do today that i would want to do again ?

an excellent question! that question really does not apply at this time of day but it certainly an opportunity for me to explore my life on a daily basis, AT THE END OF EACH DAY! yes, i put some emphasis on that, because for me, today, right here and right now is all i have. if i allow my inventory to slip into the next morning, i am already in a just for yesterday program, and all that i did, has been processed and my memory has been transformed. as much as i would love to say, that i see my life much clearer after sleeping, i know that is yet another lie i tell myself. for me, the immediacy of how i feel as i look over my life in the twelve to eighteen hours that is life in the real world is what is important. when i ask myself, what did i do TODAY, that i would want to incorporate into my life TOMORROW, i have moved into a place of love and acceptance of who and what i am. when i change that question to what did i do YESTERDAY, that i want to make part of my life TODAY, i am apt to sugarcoat, or even worse abuse myself with the sins of days past. the daily inventory is just that, a review of my day, in real-time, before i go to sleep. because i do a daily inventory, most nights i sleep very well. i am not usually tossing and turning, trying to get the events of my day settled. a good night's sleep is the immediate gift of a daily inventory. a better life in tomorrow is the differed one for me. life, however moves on, and although i may have more to say, i want to get some stuff done before Broncos time tomorrow, so in the here and now, it is time to say goodbye.
