and walk with the POWER that fuels my recovery through today. so this morning i decided to get out of the house early and see what i could accomplish before being house bound in the snow. well right on cue, the snow started pounding down, but all i am doing is moving forward early. as i sit here, setting up a machine, chomping on a stogie, i get that i am powerless over even the minor annoyances that pop-up in my daily activities, but i do realize how frustrated and even angry i get when things do not happen to go my way. yes molehills easily become mountains in my little world, and my applecart, gets easily upset, after all, don't you know who i am?
well snow or no snow, i will be heading over to Boulder in a bit to attend my home group, i will come back and get stuff done and when this dy is over, hopefully i will see that when i consider the big picture, i did not sweat the samll stuff and i handled my day with a bit of patience and grace. i just hit my first bump in the road, and yes i felt frustration starting to take control. breathe, and relax, BOOM, it is gone!
anyhow, yes it is time to hit the road and get moving, this computer will be waiting for me to finish my work, and so on. it is a great day to be clean and do the next right thing.

Book 2

2) There is no calamity greater than lightly engaging in war. To do
that is near losing (the gentleness) which is so precious. Thus it
is that when opposing weapons are (actually) crossed, he who deplores
(the situation) conquers.
