≠ my efforts at service make me highly visible to the fellowship ≠

it is easy for me to become a **big fish in a little pond**. well this b ig fish has left the pond for the most part these days. after almost a decade in various forms of service at the service committee level, i have moved up the food chain to just a worker bee, a group servant and a member of the convention committee. i truly felt my life would not be complete at such a major paradigm shift in my service efforts, as it turns out, it is just as fulfilling of a life being part of the little fish as it was when i thought i was that big fish.
i could go on, however, today i am sitting here after a frustrating weekend, trying to get all the computers that needed to work by start of business this morning, up and running. it is tough, as an addict or even a human being to work and work and work and it looks like nothing is getting done!
YARGH!
what started out as a seemingly simple upgrade has turned into a monster machine swap and as a result, my serenity is not very high this morning. it sometimes sucks to be me. well not really, the events of the past 48 hours may make me think that, BUT i know that i had to do what i had to do. working within the constraints i was given.
anyhow, i better get back to paying attention to what needs to be done and let all of this go.
i can surrender. i can persevere. and best of all i can stay clean, just for today

Book 2
2) The difficulty in governing the people arises from their having
much knowledge. He who (tries to) govern a state by his wisdom is
a scourge to it; while he who does not (try to) do so is a blessing.
