≠ i will strive to be a part of unity ≠

i have come to understand that unity does not equal uniformity.
finally i get a chance to get this written. it has been one heck of a morning, doing this and that and getting stuff out of the way so i can head down to Cañon City tomorrow. the irony here is that i received an crackbook invite to an similarly named event in Denver, that in years past has not inspired a whole lot of unity.
oh well, so it goes…
anyways, thinking about unity versus uniformity, i can safely say, that i certainly DO NOT know the best the way for anyone but me to carry the message. i may have bunches of days clean in a row, and i certainly have more than one notion about how to do it, but what i lack is a GLOBAL response that will work for everyone. for me, that is why the whole group conscience process is important. as part of that process, it is important for me to remember that the members that are there, are my peers and that opinion is no more important or more correct than theirs, most of the time. i cannot use my status as a local founder or length of clean time to force the outcome i desire, and what has or has not worked in the past, may not be a harbinger of what will work in the here and now.
my whiniest client in the world is on my back and i NEED to get out into the world. it is a great day to be clean and i can be a part of the solution and not a part of the problem. that is what unity means to me today.
