∞ i have learned was that if i want to stay clean, ∞

i have to make meeting attendance my priority. the atmosphere of love and joy that fills the meetings of this fellowship has kept me clean another day. no matter how hectic my schedule, meeting attendance needs to be my priority. well the first thing i noticed this morning that this is one of the quotes that will no longer be in fellowship approved literature, if some motions are passed and we move into the next edition. the price of change and so it goes.
so what i am thinking about this morning other than Jayme S having ten years clean -- you rock girl -- is how i am able to stay clean on the few meetings i do make. oh yes i would love to say that i make attending meetings my priority, but the truth is i am lucky to get to more than two a week. the truth is, as i get more days clean, i have lost the immediacy of what meetings do for me, and how important it is for me to show-up on a regular basis. not just for myself and my recovery, but also for those who also are attending the meetings, after all, everyone needs to see the HOPE that we can stay clean for years and even decades!
so i will be attending a meeting this evening as a man who may or may not become a sponsee is speaking, i did attend a meeting last night because i am the treasurer of my home group and i did attend on sunday, just because that is a meeting that i do do on a regular basis. so the reading this morning might have just passed me by, 4 meetings in 5 days, however is not normal for me. it is however the reality of the situation today, so i get a pass, meetings are a priority today anyhow, who knows what tomorrow will bring!
so off to the showers and into the real day!

3) (Those who) possessed the highest benevolence were (always seeking)
