Ξ± my first contact with a Higher Power, has grown into a life full of freedom. Ξ©

i maintain my freedom by maintaining and improving my conscious contact with my Higher Power through regular prayer and meditation. so what is up this morning? i am not quite certain, yet. i know i have some work to do, and i also know that for some reason it was easy to settle into that quiet place that i go to, inside my ever racing mind, to meditate this morning. so i am aware and calm at the same time, this morning, and i am uncertain about how to handle this particular state. usually when i feel this way, my mind is racing in a thousand different directions, i am unable to meditate very "well" and i my energy is scattered to the four or so winds. when i am quiet enough to have an excellent meditation session, like the one this morning, i am usually incapable, or perhaps it would be better to say, unwilling to do any work and set-up a play day for myself.
so when i feel focused and calm, i am at a bit of a loss, i wonder what exactly my HIGHER POWER has in store for me today. okay moving on…
so the reading is preaching to the choir, at least when this addict reads it. it always amazes me, when i hear members who have time and who have worked a full set of steps, say they do not or cannot meditate. for me. there is no big ritual, no incense, no private special room or mat, nor any set of word or thoughts that i need to chant. i just do it, and i can do it anywhere and at almost any time. in fact, since my workout takes the better part of a half an hour, i find that is the perfect time to grab some extra contact time.
but anyhow, i do understand the need for me to continue to hone my contact skills and develop my relationship with my concept of a HIGHER POWER, but the road is calling, so off to workout land i trot and into my day. CIAO FOR NOW!
