care, guidance, and strength that is available from the POWER that fuels my recovery, feels unlimited at times, and fraught with traps at others. this morning, as i move forward in my day i feel the care and not the ties that at times seem to bind me. as i fell asleep last night i finally let go of all those that i had been renting space in my head to and slept deeply and soundly. no matter what i think, there will always be those who believe that their ends justify any means to get them. i recognize that behavior because i have been there, done that and got the T-shirt.
i am really at a loss for words this morning and do not have a whole lot to say on this topic. i do need to clarify that when i feel my relationship with the POWER that fuels my recovery, is laden with traps, is when i am slipping back into the state of having a HIGHER POWER that looks and ACTS like those of my peers, instead of the one that i have found after years in the wilderness. today i refuse to go there and i do not need to pretend that what was, is how i see the world today. i can accept that i am powerless over lots of stuff, including the way some people go through their lives. just for today, i will walk through mine with my head held high, knowing that when i need it, the care of the POWER that fuels my recovery will be there, whether i ask for it or not.
