∞ learning in recovery is hard work. ∞

the things i most need to know are often the hardest to learn.
i know this sounds like one of those best selling how to help yourself books or a seminar that you pay big buck$ for and you get the secrets to self-enlightenment. well although i find this particular reading more than a bit cheesy, i do not disagree with the whole schooling metaphor and about being the student sometimes and the teacher at other times. it has been my experience that the lessons i WANT to learn and the lessons that i NEED to learn are seldom the same thing and that seems to be a BIG BUMMER, most days.
today on the other hand i am learning a few lessons on what i need to do a move forward with my relationships with myself, my girlfriend and my friends.
so anyhow, i am really pressed for time this afternoon, it has been a very strange day and i need to move forward and see what i can accomplish today!
