just for today i will rely on the power that keeps me clean and free
HMMMMMMM
relying on something outside of myself?
an interesting thought
some power outside of me is keeping me clean, the evidence of that is apparent in my life
the gifts i have recieved are overwhelming and beyond my wildest dreams
...BUT...
i still want to rely on my own self-will to get through the daily grind. the 3rd Step decision i make every morning seems to fly out of the window within an hour of starting my day
i can accept emotionally that i have powers greater than me working in my life, emotionally however i have trouble living up to the decision to turn my sh!t over and leaving it there.
oh well, i guess i am just a human being after all and will make progress if i keep at it.

☯ The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao ☯
by Lao-Tse
Translated by James Legge
Book 2
2) He (who knows it) will keep his mouth shut and close the portals
(of his nostrils). He will blunt his sharp points and unravel the
complications of things; he will attemper his brightness, and bring
himself into agreement with the obscurity (of others). This is called
'the Mysterious Agreement.'
