what in the world are they talking about?
time to fess up here, i am not a big fan of the whole disease concept, but as a metaphor it certainly does work. scientifically? well perhaps one day they will discover what makes people like me, different from the other 85% of the population. for right now, i am okay with accepting that i am different and without the structure of the program, the support from my friends, peers and my sponsor, i would be using today. the structure of the program is built upon the 12 STEPS, and those steps teach me who i am, who i have been, and where i could go, for the first time in my life, i may not wake up happy, but i do wake up content and for me, that is worth all of the blood, sweat and tears of the 12 STEPS.
there really is not too much more running around, my head this morning and that is okay as well. so i guess it is time to take a shower and get headed down the road to Boulder. oh yeah and it is a good day to be clean as well!
