∞ nothing to see here, move along ∞

well there really is not much for me to blog about this topic this morning. of course, i could tell you all how much the tenth step has affected my life -- an extraordinary amount.
  • some days just the fact that i will have to write about my behavior gives me enough pause to not act-out.
  • going over my day and inventorying my feelings, desires, and needs has allowed me to become better acquainted with myself
  • writing about what i was grateful for on a periodic basis, helps to build my attitude or gratitude
  • listing what i have done to sustain my recovery today, often shows me i am doing better than i think i am.
  • and finally enumerating the harm i have done myself and others over the past day, allows me the chance to promptly make any amends i need to.
so will i inventory my day today and use what i find to alter my behavior tomorrow? sounds like a suggestion i can live with today!

Book 2

2) There is no guilt greater than to sanction ambition; no calamity
greater than to be discontented with one's lot; no fault greater than
the wish to be getting. Therefore the sufficiency of contentment is
an enduring and unchanging sufficiency.
