···  and getting everything, that i need anyhow. i have seen what praying for specific items or outcomes bring, and as a result i have long ago decided to refrain from praying for anything much beyond another day clean, knowledge of GOD's will for me and the COURAGE to carry it out.
i have found that as a result my needs are met, i have no expectations of GOD, and i seem to be more serene and less at odds with the world.
moving on to something different....
.... i have been at odds with the people i work with. i am frustrated and angry at work every single day lately and it is starting to become a major concern. for some reason, some expectation is not being met, and of course i have no clue (as usual) as to what is really going on.
i do know a few things though:

• I am between step cycles
• i have been through quite a period of emotional turmoil and growth
• ... and i have not moved on with my professional life

whether this has anything at all to do with anything is still a mystery to me, but i know that with the assistance of my friends, my sponsor and GOD i will move through this phase and come out on the other side clean.
