two days

off the grid and i am finally connected again.
you know i did not miss it ubtil late this afternoon when i just had to get a room with High Speed Internet Access in Cortez, CO
... so it goes
i am exhuasted and filled with joy because i have escaped the city for a bit and have been places and done things that were never possible for me before. when i was using the last thing in the world i would do on vacation would be to climb up and down ladders on the side of cliffs to look at the remenants of a people who left their homes 700 years ago. i may have been interested in drive by tourism but to climb and hike and explore would be the last of my desires.
okay enough about my fun and on to this morning's reading which if i recall was about feeling our defects as a result of working a 4th Step. i did not die from any of my 4th Steps and was motivated to move on. therfe are still many character defects left to be removed in me, but that is beyond my power, so just for today, i will feel what i am feeling (tired, sore and hungry) and let GOD take care of the rest
