so i am not a big **GOD** guy as has been made quite evident in my posts across the course of recent history, in these little drops of my wisdom, or whatever. i do, howver believe that ther is some POWER that keeps e clean and that POWER, whatever one chooses to call it, has allowed me to be traansformed into something thaat was not evident, back in the “good old days.” today, i spent most of the day on Delos, the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, in the Greek mythos. i GOT to be here through a set of extraordinary circumstances and if i was one to go into the whole divine love and care gig, i could easily say that this is evidence of that force. i choose not to go down that path, because to me happenstance, just is and requires no outside force to make it happen. more than one person prayed for me to land my new job, and although i was uncomfortable in thaanking them for doing so, i did not it out of respect for them, as once again, it was certainly through my own initiative that i made it happen. life is like thaat and many of the things i think are great, may or may not be so great. when i allow myself to put a value judgement on events and try to assign a cause for it happening, i lose the spiritual center i have worked so hard to attain.
this afternoon, as i consider the day i had, walking through the ruins of nearly a thousand years of worship and trade, i felt a connection to those who made a life on that barren rock, catering to the pilgrims that came for spiritual enlightenment. where once i considered my religious peers to be ignorant and superstitious, i now seee them as marching to a differnt tune, one that i cannot hear and accept them for being who they are. GOD's love? well be that as it may, some POWER has given me the power to stay clean today and if that is coming from GOD and is evidence of love, thn so be it as well, i can okay with that as well.
