was never a word i said out loud to describe myself. BUT, and yes it is a big one, it was a word i often said quietly to myself, when i considered who i was and how i fit into society in general. these days, when i hear that word once again, surfacing from the depths, i KNOW that something else is going on, and that something else, is very rarely any good.
it does feel great to be home again and after attempting to “sleep in” i got up way too early, as my body has yet to adapt to the time zone i live in. hopefully, as this day wears on. i will be able to transition back and get my “clock” reset. the “drama” i thought i created yesterday., during one of those long travel days, was really just a misunderstanding with my spouse and put into the garbage bin, before we got on the next flight. my suitcase however, failed to make the journey to Denver, or was grabbed by someone off the belt. the only thing that it contained that i missed was my toothbrush and that was taken care of by a quick trip to the grocery store last night.
now it is time to take care of myself, as i seemed to have picked up a cold whilst i was on the Emerald Isle. i am not going to run, but i am certainly going to get a whole bunch of steps under my “shoe rubber,” before i head out to my home group. my bills have been paid, i have made my request to get espresso beans and now i have co0mpleted my morning activities. it is a good day to be home, to be alive and to be clean, even if a suitcase full of nasty dirty clothes is somewhere between here and Dublin,as that stuff happens and it is hardly a catastrophe, as i took precautions to keep most everything valuable, with me, as i transited a quarter way around the globe.

Book 2

4) Therefore the (ruling) sage acts without claiming the results as
his; he achieves his merit and does not rest (arrogantly) in it:--he
does not wish to display his superiority.
