∞ but if i get fired, divorced, or disappointed, gratitude flies out the window. ∞

i find myself becoming obsessed with the things that are wrong, even though everything else may be wonderful.
and the way things have been going today, my gratitude did fly right out of the window, yarg what a day and nothing i try to do seems to make it any better. so taking a cue from the reading it is time to look at this day in a bit different manner.
i am grateful that no matter how bad things are going i do not have to use today. i am grateful that i have a home, people who love me and a manner of supporting myself.
i am grateful that i have discovered i have a voice and am grateful that i have the willingness to learn how to properly express that voice -- for instance i could flame back an e-mail that i received today, but i am waiting for my emotions to discharge a bit before writing a response.
so back to the grind to finish some of the stuff i have have committed to, and you know what, i am grateful i can make and keep commitments these days.
