a living 12th step

i like the idea that i am a living 12th step and that a 12th step cannot fail as long as the message is carried to another addict.
it eliminates all the self-worth and self-esteem garbage that i seem to drag through life with me.
it simplifies my identity in the program and gives me a single standard to follow:
am i demonstrating on a daily basis that the program works by staying clean no matter what?
of course there can be and for me is a whole lot more to LIVING THE PROGRAM, but when i strip off all the extra layers it boils down to that simple question.
so iguess with that as my guide i will go out and live another day.
