∞ center of the universe? ∞

so, the world does not revolve around me? BUMMER! i know i believed that when i first came to recovery and probably for quite a while in early recovery, after all were you all not here to help me get better? and did i not NEED every bit of love and attention you gave me? OF COURSE, but you gave that to me not because i was entitled to it, but because you had learned how to live by a spiritual principle or two.
today i do understand that to nurture my spirit i need to give of myself to not only those i share time with but also to the world around me. learning what my place was in this world and how to live there was a difficult but rather simple task, all i had to was give up all my preconceived notions of who and what i was, and what i was entitled to and learn to live.
so over the course of time, i now have the ability to give back to this world and those around me and have a better idea my place in the world.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL

accomplish them.
