๐ acceptance is not ๐

an all-or-nothing event, and it does not necessarily happen all at once. truer words have never ever been written, at least based on my experience. i have never been the quickest study in the lot, when it comes to spiritual principles and that is something i can accept. i have always found that “it is a process” to be an answer that drives me mad and yet, ironically, that has always been the case for me. i guess, as i attempted to dip into the void this morning, this was what was probably keeping me from my deep dive. it has been a few days since the last time i was blocked from the void, and when it happens, i can either accept (ironic ain't it) and move on, or get all hot and bothered about how terrible i am about doing my morning meditation, even though i lack evidence that i am actually terrible feeling the void.
moving on, i did discuss my THIRD STEP writing with my sponse this morning, and of course i have an assignment and i have been given time to “marinate” in the feelings around the first three steps. i also have an application in detecting and deflecting self-will using driving as my “low hanging fruit.” my fitness tracker does think i am stressed out when driving, even when i am not chomping on a cigar. what i am going to attempt to do, is allow myself to drive without adding stress, although have no clue about how to do that. as i have been playing with AI a whole lot lately, maybe i will ask ChatGPT or a strategy to help me be less stressful when i drive.
i do need to get out and get some steps and finish my boring book club book. i have reached the part where i am dealing with the author's less than honest assertions and need to “accept” that perhaps he has a chapter coming up that will restore his objectivity. i can say, this is not a book i would recommend for anyone to read, as it is wordy, redundant and has a hidden agenda, even though the author purports not to have one. time moves on, and so must i. it is a good day to accept that acceptance is a process for me, just for today. 😁
