willing to walk in FAITH? so my source material this morning speaks of STEP THREE and STEP ELEVEN, and the wills again, self-will, the will of a HIGHER POWER and true will. i am not one of those who looks for burning bushes or manna from heaven. i am one of those who practices his spirituality in a practical real world sense. i walk though my day, after listening to the quiet, seeking to be alive, awake and present for what is going on around me. i am of the opinion that i get what i need, by taking advantage of the opportunities i am presented. my one overarching need is the power to stay clean and here is where FAITH enters the room. i am certain that i will get everything i NEED to stay clean today, even if i am not looking for it, specifically. i have no proof of that, even though i have a minute clean, i just accept that on FAITH, no questions asked.
the morning has slipped away from me and i need to get roiling out towards work, or at least getting my lunch prepared. today, just for today, as i am that sort of guy, i know that i have a connection with the POWER that fuels my recovery that will provide for what i need to get through this day clean and so much more, IF i listen for its voice in those who cross my path today.
